About Ben

Ben is a dynamic, values-driven senior leader with over 20 years of experience in Higher Education, specialising in Registry Services, academic governance, edtech solutions and student experience.

A former Director of Registry Services and Student President, Ben has worked across a wide range of professional services functions, and brings insight from senior roles within sector bodies, and as Chair of the Academic Registrars’ Council (ARC). He understands how institutional systems and culture interact, and how to move from strategy to sustainable action.

Ben is a student-centred leader who draws on both professional expertise and personal experience of university life. He is known for translating complex challenges into clear, practical solutions that improve how institutions work for their students and staff.

A skilled relationship builder, Ben brings sector-wide knowledge of best practice and enhancement. Whether it’s refining regulations, refreshing policy and process, or supporting the student journey through better technology and services, he works collaboratively to create change that lasts.
